We share the characteristics and best practices of today’s highly functioning association boards and help you realize your board’s potential.

To have a successful association, it helps to have a knowledgeable and effective board. As an association leader, you may have questions about board governance or a fear that you’ll miss opportunities because of inertia or being stuck in the weeds. It might help to have an outside perspective on your board’s culture, or some new insights on the roles and responsibilities of today’s highly functional boards. You might know something is not quite right, but you may not be sure what it is.

We’ll work with you on defining the governance needs of your board and then we’ll collect and analyze feedback from the board itself. We won’t always tell you what you want to hear, but we promise that any recommendations we make will be grounded in feedback from you and your board members. As a team, you’ll be in a better position to decide on a development plan and accountability system that makes sense for your organization.
